BOARDSHORTS
ARE EQUIPMENT.

Fit and function come first. I designed each boardshort down to the trim, stitch and prints, then managed the product and its production.

TELL THE STORY.
SELL BOARDSHORTS

At Ocean Current, I was a bit of a one-man band for surf and skate. I built ad campaigns, shot action, lifestyle and product photography, merchandised and designed boardshorts down to the prints and trims, created trade show booths, and managed the surf and skate teams. It was a lot for one person, but I learned how every piece of a brand works together.

THE LINE
TAKES SHAPE.

A working wall of ideas, color and decisions. I developed these boardshort collections from concept through print, fit and production, building each piece as part of a complete line. Over six years at Ocean Current, I designed and developed more than 6,000 boardshorts, amphibious shorts and original prints.
